Media Coverage

The majority of area radio stations set up shop at the Fair and broadcast "live" for the eleven days of the Fair. We're the envy of every event in the area! Blue Ribbon sponsors can receive links, contesting opportunities, etc.

All three local TV Network affiliates also set up temporary studios on the grounds and broadcast "live" several times a day, including full newscasts.

We receive an average of 600 news stories or clips including news exposure on the morning news shows.

In 2012, the Erie County Fair  received over $1,000,000 in calculated publicity value (as reported by On-Air Audit, Inc.).  Here's how they describe the Erie County Fair...

The Buffalo News has the largest combined print/web audience with an 86.9% net rating among adults 18+ ranking them them in the top 20 daily newspapers as reported by The Media Audit.
