Will perform on the Community Stage for 3 shows daily. The fun and fast paced show will highlight the comic monkey antics and educational facts about monkeys as well.

 

This nationally renowned Barney Fife Impersonator will be seen throughout the Fairgrounds migling with the guests, signing autographs, taking photos with fans, or dancing on stage.  Check out hiss 1962 Ford Galaxie Mayberry Squad Car.

Get a close-up look at farm and exotic animals and there will be unique animal rides for the kids! 

Located in Kiddieland.
 
Led by the Pepsi-Cola Marching Band, the parade will march around the Fairgrounds every day beginning at 5p.m. Listen for the PA system announcing when the parade starts and who will be coming up the Avenue of Flags next!

 The largest touring antique fairground organ in the Americas, and one of the only two similar instruments in the United States.  Built by the Gavioli firm in Paris in 1897, it recreates the sound of the travelling fun fair, the Happiest Music on Earth.

Gary will be featured strolling through the Fairgrounds, in the Daily Parade and at his "Big Show" at the Tops Family Entertainment Complex every day. Watch him juggle on his unicycle, ride in his miniature car or pull pranks on his audience!
 
"The Wizard of Wood" will perform daily next to the Conservation Building located on the Avenue of Flags. Bid on his amazing works of wood in a silent auction. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Erie County Agricultural Society Scholarship Fund. 
     
HISTORICAL DEMONSTRATORS     
BOWL TURNER - Roger Abramsom demonstrates how wood-working was done before machines and factories.  Daily demonstrations will be performed outside the Historical Building.  OLD-TIME LYE SOAP MAKING - Using a 200-year old family recipe and a large pot!   Scottish lye soap has many benefits and can be used for psoriasis, eczema, acne, insect bites, poison ivy and oak, athlete's foot, dandruff, spots and stains, shampoo and even fish bait!

PAPER MARBLING - Artisan John Bielak will demonstrate the ancient art form. See how pigments become paint, how the paint can "float" on water and how it is then absorbed onto special paper in stunning designs. Marbled paper has many uses including decorative note writing paper, book binding and box making. See daily demonstrations at the Historical Building.

All are invited to visit the Nya:Weh Native American Village to sample the rich cultural heritage of this region's native people and experience the gracious hospitality for which they are known.  Meet and learn from native artists, enjoy educational sicpalys, traditional native foods and Iroquois dance and music exhibitions.  Don't miss the new Smoke Dance Competition on Saturday, August 21. From August 12-15, The LEGO Experience Tour invites families to get "hands-on" and "mnds-on" with LEGO bricks, video games and more!  Whether playing the LEGO toys for the first time or rediscovering a childhood favorite, this engaging, family-focused event has something for everyone.
Nya:Weh is the Seneca terms for "Thank You".  The Senecas have roamed and cared for the forests, valleys and shorelines of what is now Western New York since before recorded history.  They are the "Keepers of the Western Door" and founding members of the Haudenosaunee, or "People of the Longhouse".  LEGO products have inspired imagination and creativity in generations of builders; come experience the LEGO world for yourself and see how it all fits together!

Jerry Valley Master Hypnotist at the Erie County Fair   NYS Police Rappelling Tower  
  One of The Erie County Fair's favorite entertainers!  Now in his 10th year at the Fair, Jerry will return to capacity-sized audiences at the Community Stage for two shows daily, August 18 through August 22. His skills as a master hypnotist have brought him national attention on such shows as ABC's 20/20 and in Las Vegas showrooms.   The 55' high Rapelling Tower will have daily public display presentations of the capabilities of the NYSP Special Operations Response Team (S.O.R.T.).  See the S.O.R.T. team operators demonstrate 'high angle rescue' and 'tactical access' rapelling techniques from the 50' platform.
