2017 National Junior Swine Association (NJSA) Eastern Regional Hog Show To Be Held at Fairgrounds

The 2017 National Junior Swine Association (NJSA) Eastern Regional Hog Show will be held at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York October 6th & 7th. By Saturday morning, a total of 159 exhibitors and 372 pigs are expected to participate in the show. Pigs will represent the states of New York, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

This show is one of NJSA’s four regional shows and is open to children from anywhere in the United States. The NJSA is the youth organization of the National Swine Registry (NSR). The NSR only registers Durocs, Hampshires, Landrace and Yorkshires breeds

Judging the pigs will be Mr. Jordan Leatherman of Indiana.
