Statewide Agricultural Scholarships Available For Participation In the Erie County Fair

The Erie County Agricultural Society in conjunction with The New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs (NYSAAF) and the New York State Showpeople’s Association will award up to ten (10), $1000 cash scholarships in 2017 for students who participate in agricultural related activities at the Erie County Fair.

Those eligible for awards must be current New York State high schools seniors or students enrolled in college who are pursuing a degree in a field related to agriculture, fair management or the outdoor amusement business. All applicants from Erie County must submit their applications through the Erie County Fair no later than Friday, April 14, 2017.

Information and applications are available at the Erie County Fair Main Office, the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County, from local high school offices and at www.nyfairs.org/scholarship.htm.
