Children participating in Garden Club will explore the science world of soil, water and plant growth. Young gardeners, Ages 7-10 will learn to measure, build and plan garden space creatively to produce the most amount of food, engaging their imagination and creativity by decorating their gardens to attract pollinators, all while learning the essentials of gardening!
Garden Club group will learn the basics of gardening, including composting, planting, decorating and the roles pollinators and insects play. Utilizing window boxes, club participants will learn how to plant, care for and plan a garden space, through hands on projects with our Urban Farm Trail and window boxes. Participants in the Garden Club will receive a t-shirt, gardening gloves, and a workbook featuring lesson materials.
Limited to 10 participants.
Application must be filled out completely, including the signed release.
