Roof Vent Training Trailer 1:00 – 7:00pm
This trailer is used by firefighters to practice cutting ventilation holes in roofs or floors. It has a peaked roof that produces artificial smoke, and pallets are used to simulate roofing material. It also has a Vent, Enter, Search Window that the firefighters use to practice rescues through. It has a prop used to practice roof cuts on a flat commercial style roof as well. We use electric tools that are quiet and produce no fumes which allows our County Firefighters to train indoors during bad weather.

Also, a station that trains firefighters to get through locked doors while causing minimal damage to property will be demonstrated. We use electric tools that are quiet and produce no fumes which allows our County Firefighters to train indoors during bad weather.
August 14 - August 17
Firefighter Survival Training Trailer 1:00 - 7:00pm
This trailer carries props that test the abilities of firefighters to “Self Rescue’ when caught in situations that may cause them to become disorientated or trapped. A series of obstacles are placed in a course setting that the firefighter must make their way through. The firefighter has full gear on and has their ability to see covered up. This trains the firefighter to remain calm and be comfortable in their firefighter gear. It also trains them to figure out which way is “out” and get themselves to safety. Some of the obstacles have entanglement challenges, reduced size spaces, and maneuverability issues.
