Become A Society Member

Thank you for your interest in the Erie County Agricultural Society membership.

The Society is a self-sustaining, not-for-profit membership corporation. We are not affiliated with a government agency and do not receive major funding from New York State or the County of Erie.

This year’s annual membership year runs from January 1-December 31, 2026. The membership fee is $100.00 per person.

A Society member must be 18 years of age and over.

A Society member is entitled to the following privileges and benefits:

Admission every day to the 2026 Erie County Fair
An invitation and vote at the 2026 Annual Membership Meeting
An invitation to the 2026 Winter Ball Scholarship Fundraiser
An invitation to any member events held during the membership year
Membership newsletter/email blasts
Access to purchase 2026 Grandstand tickets on June 4th, one day before they go on sale to the general public (provided you are a member before May 31st)

The Erie County Agricultural Society Board of Directors will meet to review all New Member applications. No refunds on memberships.

Check back January 1 to become a member for the 2026 year.

The Society also administers a Scholarship Program. Scholarships are awarded to students who participate in the Erie County Fair and are enrolled in an accredited college. Students pursuing studies in the fields of agriculture, agri-business, ecology and environmental technology, family and consumer sciences, horticulture, forestry and natural resources, veterinary medicine or veterinarian technology are encouraged to apply as well as those with other career choices. In 2025, a record $105,000 was awarded to deserving students.

Your enthusiasm for the Fair signals a shared commitment to fostering future growth. To support this vision, the Society has established an Endowment Fund, designed to secure financial resources essential for achieving the Fair's goals. This fund welcomes tax-deductible contributions at any time, and we gratefully accept your support.
