The 185th Erie County Fair will honor Veterans and Active Military during its daily flag retreat ceremony at Slade Park. Now in its seventh year, this patriotic tradition will begin on Wednesday, August 6th at 6:30pm and continue each evening during the 12-day run of the Fair.

Recipients must be available one day of the Fair, August 6-17, 2025 from 6-7pm.
Those chosen will receive a Made In America Flag, 4 Fair admission passes, parking pass, Strates Shows ride card and $20 in meal vouchers. Ceremony takes place rain or shine.

If chosen, the Erie County Fair will contact the nominator first.
