This trailer carries props that test the abilities of firefighters to “Self-Rescue” when caught in situations that may cause them to become disorientated or trapped. A series of
obstacles are placed in a course setting that the firefighter must make their way through. The firefighter has full gear on and has their ability to see covered up. This trains the firefighter to remain calm and be comfortable in their firefighter gear. It also trains them to figure out which way is “out” and get themselves to safety. Some of the obstacles have entanglement challenges, reduced size spaces, and maneuverability issues.
