Picnic Shelter Rentals

Host your company picnic, family reunion, or birthday party at the Fair!

Nestled in the shade of the Fairgrounds, Hickory Tree Park is just steps from delicious food, exciting entertainment, animals, rides, games, shopping, and so much more!

Shelter Rental Reservation: $200 ($174 + $26 fee)
Included with a shelter rental:

All day access to your own private shelter
Accessible sidewalks
Green space (amount varies by shelter)
Tables and chairs

Shelters are reserved on a first come first served basis.

Discounted Gate Admission

25-100 Tickets: $15 each ($13.27 + $1.73 fees) 34% discount

101-250 Tickets: $14 each (($12.39 + $1.61 fees) 38% discount

251+ Tickets: $13 each $11.50 + $1.50 fees) 42% discount

Discounted Gate Admission must be purchased in advance. Cost includes fees. Unused tickets are not refundable. Discounted Gate Admission also available to guests who only want to purchase Group Tickets!

Food & Beverage
Option 1
You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to the picnic shelter, however, it is the Erie County Fair's policy that no glass, alcohol, or grills be brought in. Outside catering may not be brought onto the grounds. If you wish to have a catered meal, please contact one of the following three Fair caterers:

Option 2
Purchase a $10 Meal Voucher to be used with any food vendor at the Erie County Fair. Vouchers cost $12.03 ($10 + $2.03 processing fee) per voucher).
Meal vouchers must be purchased in advance. Unused vouchers are not refundable.

Rides
Add on Strates Shows FunCards (65 ride credits) for $32 each, offered at a discount exclusive to Shelter Renters.
Cards must be purchased in advance. Cards are shareable and good for any day of the 2025 Erie County Fair. Unused cards are not refundable.
